How to Observe Plants in the Wilderness
This site provides information about observing a plant overtime. It encourages the use of a magnifier to make observations and illustrating the observations. This activity can be one assigned to do at home over a period of time. It engages students in that they are selecting plants to observe in their home surroundings. Students can be assessed on the detail included in their drawings and entries made in their journal such as date, time, weather conditions, etc.
