Science Tools
This lesson plan challenges students to complete an investigation using the appropriate tools. Steps are given for completion of task as well as a rubic for scoring. This could be used for a science project as well. Inbedded in the lesson plan is a PowerPoint on tools. Students will need to work cooperatively as they research, experiment, and explore different science questions and have some knowledge of the scientific method. Cooperative learning groups are discussed as well as roles for each student in the group. A teacher page gives additional information.
