Compare and Contrast
This kindergarten unit provides three lessons for teaching comparing and contrasting. The first two lessons provide instruction for building background knowledge for the terms same and different. The last lesson provides instruction for comparing and contrasting two stories. This unit provides lesson plans for identifying the similarities between two pictures when comparing them and identifying the differences between two objects when contrasting them. The culminating lesson provides instruction for identifying both similarities and differences in a book.
