Grammar Traps Archive - Confusing words and usage explanations
This resource clears up confusing words and grammar usage. The "grammar traps" identify a common mistake (e.g. because of vs. due to, farther vs. further, continually vs. continuously, etc.) and then explain the correct usage along with examples. Approximately 100 confusing words/phrases/usages are included in this resource. This resource can be used for teacher knowledge and clarification, incorporation into grammar lesson practice, or individual differentiation. This may be an excellent resource for a "grammar trap" of the day/week in which students analyze or correct common word/usage problems as a whole group.
