Newton's Laws tutorial
This tutorial on forces provides an overview of is divided into four lessons (Newton's 1st law, Force and its representation, Newton's 2nd law, Newton's 3rd Law), complete with simple demonstrations, labs and extensions for both student and teacher. Topics covered include inertia and mass, weight, equilibrium, net forces, types of forces, free-body diagrams, Questions at the end of the various sections of the tutorial can be used to check for student understanding. Using illustrations, various media, and checks for understanding, this tutorial does an excellent job of presenting the concepts in plain language and a progressive sequence. The resource could stand on its own in place of a textbook.
