Questioning the Text
Into the Book's Questioning the Text Activity is an activity geared toward teaching students how to question the text to increase comprehension. Clear and concise steps are provided to assist the teacher in modeling how a reader questions the text. Time is allotted for guided practice where students work with a partner recording their questions on post-it notes. When questions are answered by reading the text further, the students mark on their post-it.
