Phases of the Moon
This activity plan uses numerous strategies to present ideas for projects that students can do to demonstrate understanding of moon phases. Videos, a puppet show, cookie moon phases, and a model using a collar with balls to illustrate phases of the moon are shown. The ideas presented provide many suggestions for using projects to assess student understanding of moon phases.
