Apples Galore!
This lesson uses multiple types of apples to help students generate a list of adjectives and write more complex comparative descriptions. Adjectives will be identified as descriptors. The key to adding rigor to this lesson is to increase the types of apples available for comparison. Students will be required to be more specific with choice of adjectives. This lesson also has a cross-curricular path to Math through graphing.
