Writing a Persuasive Essay by Waterford Union High School
This resource provides an outline for writing a persuasive essay from start to finish. It includes vocabulary, details each part of the essay, provides a list of transitions, and suggests a conferencing activity. This handout is an excellent resource for explaining a persuasive essay and providing multiple resources regarding that type of essay. Students will appreciate an outline to help them write an effective essay, clear vocabulary concerning persuasive essays, and a peer conferencing activity to help them give and receive feedback on their essays. Tenth and eleventh grade teachers will find this resource helpful when teaching persuasive writing.
