This I Believe - Podcast Writing
The lesson plan directs students to imitate National Public Radio's "This I Believe" broadcasts to create an original podcast about a current event or issue. This lesson plan includes teacher instructions and lesson resources to create original podcasts based on NPR u201cThis I Believeu201d podcasts. Students will analyze the text within the podcasts for both voice and audience so that they will be able to model this same style in their final original podcasts. All necessary models and graphic organizers are included in this lesson plan. (Note: This lesson plan is designed around a science topic for a middle school class; however, the concept can easily be adapted for an English I class.)
