Logical Arguments, Counterexamples and Disproving Statements
One lesson within a 10 Lesson Unit. Includes teacher notes, student work and/or hands-on activities, and Exit Tickets. It also contains formative and summative assessment with a Unit Exam. Lesson 10 (begins on p. 56) is "Justify logical arguments or give a counterexample". This lesson includes the concepts of conditional statements and counterexamples, as well as hypothesis and conclusions. It includes a student driven activity.
