NUMB3RS - Right or Wrong
This 15 minute activity is based on an episode of the TV series NUMB3RS. This activity applies the binomial theorem to the probability of correctly guessing a particular outcome for a number of events. Included are teacher instructions, student worksheets with answer keys, and an extention activity incorporating Pascal's Triangle. Great activity to study binomial probability. Students are able to make the connection between Pascal's Triangle and Binomial Theorem by using this activity. They will apply the process to a real-world scenario.
