Shopping Mall Math

Students participate in activities in which they develop in and around the shopping mall.  The first lesson is appropriate for grades 3-5 and the second activity is appropriate for 6-8.  This activity reviews the percentage concept and extends the lesson by instructing the studens to create a scale drawing of the mall. Reviews the concepts of percentage. After the students finish the first part of the lesson, they are instructed to complete a scale drawing the the mall.
