Biotic vs Abiotic
This site is informational and brief, intended for introducing students to living and nonliving features of the environment. There is good use of new vocabulary. This resource could also be used for review after the introduction. After discussion of terms, new vocabulary and classifying a formative assessment will identify any misconceptions - Using the teaching strategy (3, 2, 1) or a teacher created question are good examples to use for reviewing the topic.
