Using Scatterplots and Trend Lines to Make Predictions
This is an online activity that can be used independently by students. It includes lesson plans, printouts, and an online activity. It provides opportunities for differentiated instruction. This is an activity with guided instruction to show students how to graph a scatterplot and use the points to determine the line of best fit in order to make predictions of a given value. It requires the students to be engaged in their learning.
