The students that we serve in schools come from many different ethnic and cultural backgrounds. The educators that dedicate to serving them are not nearly as diverse. This presentation will highlight the significant role that teachers of color play in schools, explore the importance of high expectations for all students, and reflect on some possible solutions to increasing the diversity of the educator workforce.
