Patty is a registered nurse who started teaching CTE courses in a rural high school in 1998. After teaching health science for over 17 years, Patty worked as a rgional consultant for the Tennessee Department of Education and as a Career and Technical Education Facilitator for the Knox County School System. In 2016, she accepted a position with the Alcoa City School System, where she currently serves as CTE Director.
