This session will clarify paraprofessionals' responsibility in working effectively with teachers by learning specific steps to proactively collaborate to help all students succeed. Careful emphasis will be given on how to improve communication among all school staff, including the need for a code of ethics, increasing paraprofessionals' voice, and student independence. This session will build on elements of Applied Behavior Analysis that focus on increasing student product without full prompting from an adult.
