Dr. Milton Chen, known for his work on Sesame Street, and Edutopia.com, is the keynote speaker for the Lipscomb University College of Education Alumni Summit 2014.  Chen served for 12 years at the George Lucas Educational Foundation, a nonprofit foundation that utilizes its multimedia website Edutopia.org and documentary films to communicate a new vision for 21st century schools. He was credited with greatly expanding their editorial publishing efforts.

What is your definition of a great school?  Make it short and measurable.  According to Paul D. Houston, former executive director of the American Association of School Administrators, the answer is “Do the students run in at the same rate that they run out?”
