Dr. Monte Tatom

Dr. Tatom began teaching in 1979 and has 26 years in K-12 education as Teacher (11 years), Assistant Principal (6 years), Principal (5 years) & Coordinator of Staff Development (2.5 years). He retired from Mobile County Public School System in December 2005. He began working at Freed-Hardeman University (FHU) in January 2006. He is an Associate Professor of Education within the College of Education & Behavioral Sciences at FHU. He currently has 11+ years in Higher Education (2006 - Present). He served as the Director of the iLearn Program from Fall 2010 to Spring 2016 ~ "iLearn: Integrating Student Learning and Collaborative Technology." He has been an active member in the TN Educational Technology Association since Spring 2006.
